About Us

   I started making Biothane gear after struggling to find high-quality, custom gear for my now retired service dog (and company mascot), Jenna. Other service dog handlers showed interest in the gear that I was making, so I began Big Bad Woof Co. in August of 2019. Big Bad Woof Co. quickly grew to serving customers who owned all types of dogs- small dogs to XL dogs, working dogs, pets, sport dogs, even breeders! 

   Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. My love for dogs started when I was very young with our family Boxer, Max, and Shih-Tzu, Daisy. I spent all of my childhood playing with and attempting to train the two of them. Jenna came into my life when I was 18, and, while she isn't a breed that I would have chosen for myself, she's my heart dog and always will be. She worked as my service dog for over 2 years before needing to retire at 7 years old. Jack joined our pack in 2020, and he's been nearly everything I've ever wanted in a dog. He took the role as my service dog when he was 7 months old, and he's been my right-hand man ever since.

   I love working with Biothane and making gear. I took a short break from Big Bad Woof Co. during the pandemic, and I missed making gear so much! I'm very happy and excited to be back to doing what I love- making high quality gear for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and lifestyles.
